“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has written a musical “love letter” to raise money for hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

The song is set to be released on Oct. 6 and features an array of celebrity artists.
Details on who’s collaborating are under wraps, but Miranda told CNN that he “called every Puerto Rican I know” to join in.
And they jumped at the chance. “To every artist, I’ve said, ‘Can you help out on this song?’ And they said yes. Without even hearing the song, everyone’s joined in,” he said.

Miranda, 37, whose family has deep roots in Puerto Rico, was inspired to write the song in the middle of the night. “I had the idea at 3 in the morning… The initial demo was me singing in a bathroom,” he said.
Earlier this week, Beyoncé stepped up to raise money for hurricane and earthquake relief.
She released a new remix of J Balvin and Willy William’s single “Mi Gente” and released a corresponding video that features Cristiano Ronaldo and Diplo, among many others dancing along to the track.
