Man trying to get Papadopoulos off thinks Mueller wants him dead

The mystery man filed the so-called pro se motion on Thursday.
Someone filed a motion to dismiss the federal case against President Trump’s former campaign adviser George Papadopoulos last week — and the mysterious filer apparently believes special prosecutor Robert Mueller wants him dead.
Papadopoulos made national headlines last month after it was revealed that he tried to set up a meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in March 2016. Papadopoulos lied to the FBI about those conversations and has since begun cooperating with Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.
Last Thursday, someone filed a so-called pro se motion to dismiss the case against Papadopoulos. A judge swiftly denied the motion and took the unusual step of sealing it from public view, but New York Times reporter Adam Goldman said he knows who the filer is.
«The motion to dismiss in the Papadopoulos was filed pro se by a man who claims that Mueller tried to have him killed,» Goldman tweeted .

Goldman added that the mystery man made a similar filing in the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who has been slammed with a laundry list of charges in relation to his sketchy business dealings in Ukraine.
