Conan Exiles will exit Steam Early Access, and Xbox Game Preview next year, and it’s going to increase its price.
Funcom has announced that Conan Exiles will be released on May 8,2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will remain in Steam Early Access, and Xbox Game Preview until then.
It’ll be available digitally, and at retail. The retail Day One Edition comes with a full-colour print map of the Exiled Lands, and an exclusive in-game item: Conan’s Atlantean Sword.
May 8 is also when the price will be increased from $30 to $40 on PC. However, on Xbox One, where the price goes up to $50, the hike will happen this week. “As is common with Game Preview or Early Access games, it’s always been our plan to increase the price to reflect the quality and content of the final game,” the developer said.
“By the time we launch, the game will have received over a year of constant polish, improvements, bug fixes, and new content. We’ve added the entire Frozen North biome, new dungeons such as The Dregs, and new features including siege weapons, climbing, the exploration system, the journey system, orbs, traps, and more.”
Funcom is also releasing a limited collector’s edition. Like the main game, it’ll be out on May 8, and it’s available to pre-order now. Here’s everything it comes with:
