Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India that also bundles Jio #GiveMe5 Offer. Users buying these smartphones can avail the offer that comes with a cashback of Rs 2,200, which can redeemed in subsequent recharges. Both the smartphones will go on sale on 22 February exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com in India.
According to a report on the Indian Express, Reliance Jio and Mi have partnered to offer the cashback on the upcoming devices. To get the Rs 2,200 cashback, users will need to recharge the Jio SIM with either Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan to get the offer. The Rs 2,200 in cashback will be returned in 44 consecutive recharges, Rs 50 in each recharge.
The offer will be available on the MyJio app and the user need to recharge within the next three recharges. A maximum of up to 4.5 TB of 4G data can be obtained on this offer through Rs 9,999 plan that offers 750 GB on the three recharges of the pack.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be available in two variants 3 GB RAM+ 32 GB storage (Rs 9,999) and a 4 GB RAM+ 64 GB storage (Rs 11,999), whereas, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available in two variants of 4 GB RAM+ 64 GB storage (Rs 13,999) and a 6 GB RAM/64 GB storage (Rs 16,999). Both the smartphones pack a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC respectively.
The company recently announced that Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro will be manufactured in India .
