Rep. Tom O’Halleran (D-Ariz.) shared a photo on Twitter of a sign reading “Country First. Rest in Peace Senator McCain.”

McCain, who died Saturday at the age of 81 a little more than a year after being diagnosed with brain cancer, was widely respected across party lines and lauded as a maverick who put «country before party.»
Funeral services will take place in Arizona on Thursday, where former Vice President Joe Biden, a close friend of McCain’s, will speak.
