A Chinese company was able to hack former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s personal email server so that it received “nearly all” communications she sent and received, sources have told The Daily Caller.
The company allegedly sought the emails as a part of an intelligence operation, and was able to manipulate the server so that the company received a “courtesy copy” of Clinton’s email communications in real time throughout her term as Secretary of State.
“When [the Intelligence Community Inspector General] did a very deep dive, they found in the actual metadata — the data which is at the header and footer of all the emails — that a copy, a ‘courtesy copy,’ was being sent to a third party and that third party was a known Chinese public company that was involved in collecting intelligence for China,” said a former intelligence officer with knowledge of the situation.
