Fans of the popular console game Red Dead Redemption 2 can explore a hidden Mexico map by exploiting a glitch in the game.
However, the map is largely empty and features only a few placeholder buildings, with the full map — as originally promised by Rockstar Games — coming down internet connections at a later date, either as a bonus or, more likely, downloadable content (DLC).
While Mexico was included in the original Red Dead Redemption game of 2010, and Rockstar had made early promises that the game, released last week, would also include Mexico, the maps have been greyed out.

The journey involves making your way to the Sea of Coronado in New Austin, and exploiting the glitch at around the area of land next to the ‘na’ in Coronado. Players will need to cross the San Luis River aiming for the narrowest point between two land masses.
However, you’ll not be able to take your horse with you and will need a cheat code in order to generate one to make your explorations of the empty landscape a bit less tedious.
In other news, Rockstar is also planning to introduce PvP duels in the forthcoming Red Dead Online.
