Microsoft announced that it will be replacing the pre-installed My Office app on Windows 10 with a new Office app that it is currently testing with Windows Insiders on the Fast ring. The app will be available soon for all Windows 10 users as a single destination to find and launch all your documents.
Microsoft launched a new Office app for Windows 10 users that will roll out soon to all users. The app, simply called Office, replaces the current My Office app that ships on Windows 10 today. Testing for the app has already begun through Microsoft’s Windows Insider program.
“Last year, we updated Office.com with a new experience focused on two simple things: Helping users get the most out of Office and getting them back into their work quickly,” Jared Spataro, Microsft’s corporate vice president for Microsoft 365, wrote in a blog post .
