Unbeknown to many players, there is a way to easily counter and disable Caustic’s gas traps allowing knowledgeable players to neutralize his special ability.
In Apex Legends, the Legend known as Caustic has a powerful Nox Gas Trap special ability that allows those playing as him to lock down an area and to see any players caught in the gas trap. Playing against Caustic (who is locked when players first start the game) can be extremely frustrating, especially during the late stages of the game when Caustic can completely keep players out of areas. This can be a powerful asset, particularly as the battle royale circle encloses to its smallest size.
Thankfully, though, there is a way to neutralize Caustic’s Nox Gas Traps, and it doesn’t appear that many players know about this trick.
