Apple Recalls Plugs in the UK After Customers Get Electrocuted

The tech giant is recalling two types of plugs: the three-prong AC wall plug adapters that were shipped between 2003 to 2010 with Mac and certain iOS devices, and the plug included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. Six incidents have been reported so far.
Apple has asked customers in the UK to stop using particular chargers after a number of people received electric shocks.
The tech giant is recalling two types of plugs: the three-prong AC wall plug adapters that were shipped between 2003 to 2010 with Mac and certain iOS devices, and the plug included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.
Between 2003 and 2010,Apple brought out a number of portable devices including the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4G, and the original iPad.
