Former Vice President Joe Biden said in an MSNBC interview on Thursday that Americans who believe Tara Reade’s allegations of sexual assault against him probably shouldn’t vote for him—which follows a long pattern of Biden telling people not to vote for him.
Fallon, who had told Biden he would vote for him in the general election, said of his encounter, “I did not expect to be told to leave, to go vote for somebody else.” He called the interaction, in which Biden poked Fallon’s chest, “not appropriate,” and cautioned that telling progressive voters not to vote for him is a deleterious campaign strategy.
