The Royal Suite, which sleeps up to 4 people (it has 2 emperor beds) has an impressive floor space of 2400 sq ft and views of Brook and Davies Street. The aesthetic merges European grandeur (check the glorious chandeliers) with Victorian heritage and contemporary touches for the modern day guest.
Highlights include your very own personal Claridge’s butler offering 24-hour service, a complimentary Mercedes S-Class airport transfer from London Heathrow to travel in comfort, and an original Gilbert and Sullivan grand piano if you want a tinkle on the keys.
Many of the designs and fabrics in the suite reflect the Coronation of Her Majesty The Queen, including the couple’s dressing rooms that are framed by sliding doors, with hand-embroidery mirroring the techniques used to create the Queen’s coronation gown. With its atmospheric lighting, the bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and there’s a large bathroom with underfloor heating. There’a also a unique feature in the form of an intricate stained glass window, which allows light to beautifully fill the room. Interconnecting suites are also available, convenient if travelling with family.
Their food is exceptional and varied, from their Michelin-starred dining room led by John Williams MBE (which it has retained four years in a row), to their world-renowned afternoon tea and Al fresco style dining in the Secret Garden.
