OnePlus plans to unveil its first pair of truly wireless earbuds on July 21.
The upcoming “OnePlus Buds” will be introduced on the same day as a lower-cost Android smartphone called the OnePlus Nord, the company said in a Monday Instagram post.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Bluetooth earphones debuted to positive reviews last year, but the earbuds were strung together with a neckband, making them harder to carry in a pocket. The upcoming OnePlus Buds are expected to ditch the neckband approach for an AirPods-like experience, in which the earbuds will be housed in a battery-charging case. Pricing was not revealed, but the Bullets Wireless earphones cost $99.
