An Air Force helicopter on Monday was damaged and forced into an emergency landing in Virginia, resulting in injuries to an aircrew member and prompting an FBI investigation. “Initial findings are that the helicopter was struck by a bullet resulting in a minor injury to an aircrew member and damage to the aircraft,” an Air Force spokesperson said in a statement to POLITICO.
