The trade deadline, like pretty much everything else this season in Major League Baseball, is much later than usual as teams look to make those last-minute moves to bolster their playoff position or build for the future. The traditional July 31 trade deadline has been moved this season to August 31 at 4 p.m. ET. And there’s already been some wheeling and dealing leading up to Monday’s finale.
