Grab you leg warmers and turn up the music — Flashdance, the classic 1980s drama that introduced us all to Irene Cara’s “What A Feeling”, is about to get a second life on Paramount+. The hit movie is being developed as a TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and it’s set to premiere on the new Paramount streaming network, which is currently known as CBS All Access. The Flashdance reboot comes from Tracy McMillan, who will write the script, along with executive producer Angela Robinson, who will also direct the pilot for the series. Lynda Obst, an associate producer on the original Flashdance film, will also serve as an executive producer.
