And while many feel the excitement for in-person learning, many also feel the anxiety about the rise in COVID-19 cases due to the highly contagious delta variant. Whether you or a loved one is headed off to college, there are a few extra precautions that can be taken this semester while returning to campus. Here are six must-have items for college students heading off to campus, no matter if it’s their first year or their senior. With the CDC recommending indoor masking —regardless of vaccination status—in areas of high transmission, many universities and colleges may be recommending or requiring masks inside facilities. This fall semester, make sure to pack plenty of disposable or reusable masks to keep in the dorm or apartment, car and backpack.
