3 Capitol Police Officers Rapped for 'Conduct Unbecoming' in 1/6 Probe

The U.S. Capitol Police force investigated 38 complaints that had been made against officers during the January 6 riot.
An investigation into police operations during the January 6 riot at the Capitol in Washington D.C. resulted in three officers facing disciplinary proceedings for «conduct unbecoming.» A press statement shared on Saturday said the U.S. Capitol Police (USCOP) had carried out a number of investigations into conduct during the breach by supporters of former President Donald Trump. Following complaints, the OPR Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) launched 38 internal investigations. The OPR said it was able to identify officers involved in 26 of the cases. It added several complaints did not have enough information to identify an officer. According to the USCP, violations were found and disciplinary action was recommended in six cases. Of those, three were for unbecoming conduct, one for failure to comply with directives, one for improper remarks and one for improper dissemination of information.
