Samsung Electronics first introduced the concept foldable display in 2011 while the brand launched its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, in 2019. Since then, the tech giant has gone on to release other foldable models with Galaxy Z flip 3 and Z Fold 3 emerging this year.
