The 61-year-old Canadian comic, who died in September, kept his cancer diagnosis quiet for nine years and was equally quiet about a comedy special he secretly recorded more than a year before his death. The hour of material he recorded will be released on Netflix on May 30, the Los Angeles Times reports. Longtime producing partner Lori Jo Hoekstra tells the Hollywood Reporter that the former Saturday Night Live cast member recorded the material in his living room in the summer of 2020 before he had to go into the hospital.
