If you’re looking to pick one up, an Amazon sale event is a great time to grab a bargain, with many models seeing great offers in previous years.
Usually, this means Black Friday and Prime Day, but this year we’re getting an additional event — the Prime Early Access Sale.
Here’s what we’re expecting from Amazon’s next big sale. When is the Prime Early Access Sale?
Amazon has announced that the Prime Early Access Sale will be taking place on 11-12 October.
It’s a 48-hour event, a lot like Prime Day, and that’s when you’ll find all the deals going live.
However, on Amazon’s own devices like the Echo speakers and Ring doorbells, we’re expecting to see some additional early deals in the run-up to the event.

Do I need to be a Prime member?
That’s the only catch, if you want to get in on all the discounts, you’ll need to be a Prime subscriber. If you’ve not signed up yet, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial, so you can see what all the fuss is about — it offers free speedy delivery, access to Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading and more. We think it’s one of the best deals around.

It’s always worth being careful, as sometimes discounts can be exaggerated, especially if a device was already selling under MSRP before the sale.
That said, historically, we’ve seen some of the best deals of the year on Prime Day, only rivalled by the Black Friday sales.
