The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) on Wednesday announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to the shooting of Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson.
Police said in a news release they arrested a 17-year-old male and charged him with assault with intent to rob while armed with a firearm.
At the time of the shooting on Aug. 28, the suspect was 16, according to police.
Robinson was shot in the leg during the suspected attempted robbery in D.
