Oz now holds a 2-point lead over the Democrat in the key Pennsylvania Senate battle, according to a Trafalgar Group poll conducted between November 1 and 3.
Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz is favored to win the crunch Pennsylvania Senate election on Tuesday, according to a poll concluded on Thursday.
Oz, a Donald Trump ally, is going up against Democrat John Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor.
A Trafalgar Group poll of 1,097 registered voters, conducted between November 1 and 3, put Oz on 48 percent versus 46 percent for Fetterman, giving the GOP candidate a two-point lead.
Analysis by polling website FiveThirtyEight still favors Fetterman, who they found has a 53 percent chance of winning, but this is a dramatic fall from September when Fetterman had an 83 percent chance of victory on the site.
On Saturday, President Joe Biden, and former presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, are all due to campaign in Pennsylvania.
