The latest track for Tropical Storm Nicole sends the storm right across North Carolina.
Nicole made landfall in Florida on Thursday as a rare November hurricane before weakening to a tropical storm. It’s only the fourth time a hurricane has hit the U.S. in the month of November.
Nicole will move across Orlando before making a northerly turn for North Carolina. Nicole’s track has shifted west on Wednesday, and the center of circulation will move over the Charlotte area.
Breezy conditions and rain will be likely beginning Thursday night, and much of the state will be under a Level 2 risk for severe weather Friday, when heavy rain is expected in our area.
