What is she saying?
What in the world is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saying in her latest controversial remarks? I’m not sure she knows. The White House condemned her remarks made as she spoke at the New York Young Republican Club’s gala on Saturday night. Now she says she was just being sarcastic.
Marjorie Taylor Greene was referencing the January 6 demonstration on Capitol Hill that turned into a riot. She claims that the White House and Democrats hold her responsible for the mayhem of that day.
What is she talking about? What would she have “won” that day. Did she truly think that a riot was going to be able to keep Trump in the White House after he lost the election? How would that have worked? Mike Pence didn’t have the authority to toss out the election results and show Trump as the winner.
