The Duke women’s basketball team is a No. 3 seed and will play 14th-seeded Iona on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The two teams will play in Durham.
Duke (25-6, 14-4 ACC) lost 58-37 to ACC champion Virginia Tech on March 4 in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
In the quarterfinals on March 3 against North Carolina, Duke beat its rival 44-40.
