Get first details on the bit Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion, coming our way in summer of 2024!
Today at the big Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023, Square Enix and producer Naoki Yoshida revealed the next major expansion for the popular MMORPG (update 7.0) coming in 2024. Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail will offer an adventuresome high-seas theme with players setting sail to the Tural region. This new continent is inspired by South and Central America and Mayan/Aztec culture, and as such, your journeys may see you stumble upon a lost city of gold. This is meant to be the start of a new storyline after the Endwalker expansion wrapped up the epic arc that had run through the game to that point.
