Amid the slew of games releasing in October, the upcoming horror title Alan Wake 2 moves its release date in hopes of gaining better traction.
Remedy Entertainment has announced that it’s pushing the release date for the upcoming Alan Wake 2 to October 27. The studio, which has reportedly been developing Alan Wake 2 since at least 2017 finally announced that the much-anticipated sequel will be hitting stores this October. However, it now appears that Remedy may be shifting its schedule slightly.
While October is already packed with numerous high-profile titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Spider-Man 2, Remedy previously stated that the studio isn’t worried about the competition for Alan Wake 2. Remedy’s Communications Director further mentioned that the studio’s only worry is about making the best game possible and that competition will always be there.
