We don’t have a launch date for Realme’s next flagship, the Realme GT 5, yet, but it’s expected to be unveiled soon in the coming days. In the latest news on the smartphone, Realme China President Xu Qi Chase has hinted, and pretty much confirmed, that the Realme GT 5 will pack Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, in line with previous rumours. Chase put up a poster on Weibo which read, “Despite the introduction of over 30 second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship models from different brands, why haven’t any of them truly reached the pinnacle of performance?”
This pretty much suggests that the GT 5 will indeed pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which also powers phones such as the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro (launching today) and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
