The star wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins will face his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, for the first time.
Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill didn’t shy away from some friendly trash talk on Thursday when reporters asked him about playing against his former team.
Hill spent his first six seasons in the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs and won a Super Bowl with the team. He was traded from the Chiefs to the Dolphins in the 2022 offseason for five draft picks, including a 2022 first-round selection.
Hill said he would’ve rather played the game at Arrowhead Stadium but is eager to face his teammates in an essential matchup in Germany this week.
«It doesn’t really matter where we play at,» Hill told reporters Thursday via ESPN. «I mean, obviously it would’ve been great to play in K.C., but it really doesn’t matter where we play at, you feel me? They going to get this work wherever.»
Hill expects the banter to be fun considering that he parted ways with the team in an amicable fashion.
«It is going to be trash talk,» Hill told reporters.
