The Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max use varying internal memory standards, with Samsung’s flagship relying on UFS technology, whereas Apple employs NVMe storage in all of its devices. In the Jazz Disk Bench, sakitech shows that the Galaxy S24 Ultra one-ups the iPhone 15 Pro Max in yet another category by obtaining 2,547MB/s in sequential read speeds, compared to its rival’s 1,450MB/s throughput, making it a 75 percent difference. Unfortunately, the same performance gap cannot be replicated in the write test, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra obtaining 1,442MB/s data transfer speeds, with its competitor in close pursuit at 1,257MB/s, marking a measly 15 percent difference.
