According to a new report, Google and Apple are still in talks to use Gemini for AI features on the iPhone, but an OpenAI deal is closer.
Apple is expected to be using a third party to power some upcoming AI features on the iPhone, with Google Gemini reportedly being a contender. But, apparently, that deal is still not closed, but one with OpenAI is nearly ready.
A new report from Bloomberg reveals that Apple and OpenAI have “closed in on an agreement” to use ChatGPT features on the iPhone as a part of iOS 18.
