Nintendo released its most recent financial earnings for its fiscal year that ended on March 31 earlier today and on X, Furukawa confirmed that Nintendo will be announcing a Switch successor within this fiscal year. With the current fiscal year running through March 31, 2024, this means that the new hardware will be confirmed in the upcoming eleven months. Although no more exact date was provided, recent rumors suggest that Nintendo is targeting an early 2025 release for the Switch 2.
