Verified: The Galaxy S24+ is better in the US than the UK, but not by much

The S24 and S24+ use Exynos rather than Snapdragon in the UK and Europe, but it’s not as much of a downgrade as you might think
There’s a fundamental difference between Samsung’s latest flagship phones in Europe and North America, but it’s nowhere near as important as you might have heard. 
While the Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy everywhere, the cheaper Galaxy S24 and S24+ only get it in the US, Canada, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In the UK and Europe, these phones use Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset instead. 
Much has been made of this move, with the consensus that UK and European buyers are getting a worse experience as a result. But is that actually true? To find out, we’ve extensively tested both the Exynos and Snapdragon versions of the Galaxy S24+, including running CPU, GPU and battery benchmarks. 
Our conclusion? The Snapdragon model is better overall, but not by much. If you’re based in the UK or Europe, there’s no need to try and important one from the US or elsewhere.
