Brexit zajmie więcej czasu, niż początkowo sądziliśmy — oznajmił szef Komisji Europejskiej Jean-Claude Juncker. Powtórzył, że Wielka Brytania będzie musiała wypełnić zobowiązania finansowe wobec UE. «Będą musieli zapłacić» — powie
Kwestie finansowe wydają się obecnie największym problemem w pertraktacjach. Negocjatorzy Wielkiej Brytanii mówili o końcu zobowiązań w 2020 roku.
Unia chce, by Londyn łożył do unijnej kasy aż do końca 2023 roku.
Powtórzył też prezentowane już wcześniej wielokrotnie stanowisko Brukseli, że Wielka Brytania musi zadeklarować, iż wypełni swoje zobowiązania finansowe wobec UE, zanim będą mogły rozpocząć się rozmowy na temat przyszłego partnerstwa.
«Będą musieli zapłacić. (…) Ale nie będą to sumy niemożliwe. Nie kieruje mną chęć zemsty. Nie czuję nienawiści do Brytyjczyków» — powiedział Juncker na spotkaniu ze studentami w Luksemburgu.
Podkreślił, że przez to, iż ciągle nie można zakończyć rozmów w sprawie kwestii finansowych, na październikowym szczycie UE w Brukseli nie może paść deklaracja, że czas przejść do drugiej fazy negocjacji. «Brytyjczycy odkrywają, tak samo jak my, codziennie nowe problemy. Dlatego ten proces (Brexit — PAP) potrwa dłużej niż początkowo sądziliśmy» — zaznaczył.
Główni negocjatorzy obydwu stron, Michel Barnier i David Davis, oświadczyli w czwartek, że zamierzony postęp w rozmowach na temat wyjścia Wielkiej Brytanii z UE nie został osiągnięty. Sfinalizowanie pierwszej fazy negocjacji przesunięto tym samym na grudzień.
Stronom jak dotąd udało się uzgodnić jedynie niektóre kwestie związane z prawami obywateli i uregulowaniem granicy irlandzkiej, natomiast negocjacje co do rozliczeń finansowych pozostają w impasie. «To bardzo niepokojąca wiadomość dla tysięcy przedsięwzięć w całej Europie i dla tych, którzy uczestniczą w ich finansowaniu» — powiedział Barnier.
Zdaniem Davisa propozycje przedłożone w ciągu kilku ostatnich dni przez stronę brytyjską posuwają naprzód rozstrzygnięcia w sprawach praw obywateli. Wielka Brytania zamierza bowiem stworzyć całkowicie nowy, usprawniony system rejestracji dla obywateli UE pracujących na Wyspach.
W piątek 13 października ambasadorowie państw unijnych, którzy spotykają się, by przygotować przyszłotygodniowy szczyt szefów państw i rządów, mają jednak do omówienia nie tylko efekt tych rozmów. Przewodniczący Rady Europejskiej Donald Tusk przygotował bowiem projekt wniosków końcowych na szczyt, w których liderzy unijnej «27» zwracają się o rozpoczęcie «wewnętrznych przygotowań» do negocjacji o przyszłych stosunkach między UE a Wielką Brytanią.

Sundar Pichai has announced that Google is distributing $1 billion to nonprofits in education and professional training. He also launched a new initiative, Grow with Google.
Visiting Pittsburgh, Pichai outlined Google’s determination to help prepare individuals and businesses for the rapidly digitizing economy explaining:
«The nature of work is fundamentally changing … It’s a big problem and, at Google, whenever we see a big problem, we ask how we can make it easier for everyone to solve it.”
Google has already given out $100 million of the S1 billion pledged over the next 5 years. This includes $10 million to Goodwill, the United States’ largest workforce development nonprofit, to launch the Goodwill Digital Career Accelerator. It is the largest grant Google.org has ever given to a single organization.
Grow With Google is a new portal whose goal is to allow anyone with an internet connection to become proficient with technology and prepare for a job in areas like information technology support and app development. It has sections for teachers and students, job seekers, startups, local businesses and developers.
While the portal is new it gives access to existing opportunities as well as new ones. For example the resources for Teachers and Students include CS First, material for teachers and volunteers who want to run clubs to increase access to student access and exposure to CS education which have been available on the Google CS EDU site since its launch in April 2016.
There are currently two links on the Developers section of Grow With Google. The first goes to a revamped Google Developers Training site. Here you’ll find details of the Google Developers Certification that we’ve previously reported on — the Associate Android Developer exam introduced last year and the more recent Mobile Web Specialist. Information about the existing free training courses developed by Google in conjunction with Udacity, such as the short beginners courses Android Basics and Intro to Progressive Web Apps can be found here plus details of the Android Developer Nanodegree program.
The second link brings news of 50,000 Udacity Scholarships open to US residents aged 18 and over. These are open for application until November 30th for a program that begins of December 11th. It mirrors the European Udacity Scholarship scheme that we recently reported with two learning paths — Web Developer and Android Developer with 25,000 places on each split between Beginner (15K) and Intermediate (10K) and offering 3-month access to courses with support from mentors. The top 1,500 students from each Beginner track and the top 1,000 from the Intermediate track will be awarded scholarships to progress further with Nanodegree programs.
Having launched the Grow with Google program in Pittsburgh, Google is taking it on tour with stops in Indianapolis; Oklahoma City; Lansing, Michigan; Savannah, Georgia; Columbia, South Carolina; and Louisville, Kentucky, where attendees can expect free training, demos and coaching with Googlers.

On Thursday, the government banned demonstrations in the central business districts of the capital Nairobi, the coastal city of Mombasa and the western city of Kisumu. The interior minister said demonstrators had damaged and looted property.
A repeat presidential election pitting is scheduled for Oct. 26 after the Supreme Court nullified the result of an August poll in which incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta beat veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga, citing irregularities.
But Odinga withdrew from the race this week, saying the election board had failed to institute reforms to ensure a free and fair election. His opposition alliance called for demonstrations demanding a new election with a new election board instead.
The election board has said the polls will go ahead anyway, pitting Kenyatta against six other candidates, none of whom polled more than 1 percent in the August election.
In Kisumu, a stronghold of Odinga support, protesters reacted angrily when police turned water cannon on them to prevent them from entering the city center.
“Our demonstrations have a (valid) basis and are peaceful,” said Odinga supporter Hezron Tirus Aloyo. “We condemn the directive … on the limitation of our rights to demonstrate.”

4 listopada podczas kongresu Polski Razem zostanie zaprezentowana nowa formacja polityczna — zapowiedział szef partii Jarosław Gowin. Obóz Zjednoczonej Prawicy poszerza się o nowe środowiska, które podjęły współpracę z Polską Razem, m.in. o Republikanów — podkreślił.
Na piątkowej konferencji w Sejmie Gowin powiedział, że poza Republikanami, jego ugrupowanie będzie współpracowało ze środowiskami wolnościowymi i samorządowymi.
— Łączy nas wiara w wolny rynek, w niskie podatki, w prywatną własność, a równocześnie przywiązanie do tradycyjnych wartości, takich jak naród, patriotyzm i wiara chrześcijańska — podkreślił wicepremier. — Wszystkich nas łączy też przekonanie, że w polityce najważniejsza jest gospodarka — dodał Gowin.
Jak mówił, środowiska samorządowe są «ważne», ponieważ «nacisk» w programie nowej partii zostanie położony właśnie na samorząd .
We wcześniejszych wypowiedziach, Gowin mówił, że prezes PiS Jarosław Kaczyński «wyrażał radość z tego poszerzenia».

Wewnętrzny audyt m.st. Warszawy dotyczący reprywatyzacji jest bardzo szeroki, obejmuje lata 1990 — 2016; jest ważny dla nas, ale i dla tych, którzy po nas przyjdą — powiedziała w piątek prezydent Warszawy Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. Dodała, że upubliczniony zostanie w przyszłym tygodniu. Odniosła się ona także do ostatniej propozycji Patryka Jakiego.
Mamy wyniki audytu, który trwał rok. Takiego audytu nie było robionego nigdy — zauważyła prezydent. Zapowiedziała, że choć szef komisji weryfikacyjnej ds. reprywatyzacji Patryk Jaki o niego nie prosił «wyśle mu go».
Chodziło o to, żeby dokładnie zbadać i ten audyt jest. Nawiasem mówiąc, chociaż pan Jaki mnie nie prosił, to ja mu to wyślę. Dlatego, że uważam, że jest to bardzo ważna praca, w szczególności biura audytu, ale i całej administracji, która wspomagała i musiała się do tego ustosunkować — podkreśliła Gronkiewicz-Waltz.
Uważam, że komisja weryfikacyjna ds. reprywatyzacji jest niekonstytucyjna; będę się komunikować w taki sposób, jaki będę uważała za zgodny z prawem — oświadczyła w piątek prezydent Warszawy Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz pytana, czy stawi się przed komisją.
Odnosząc się do propozycji szefa komisji weryfikacyjnej Patryka Jakiego, by stawiła się jako świadek na posiedzenie komisji w sprawie nieruchomości przy ul. Noakowskiego, Gronkiewicz-Waltz odpowiedziała: Organ nie może tego robić. Ja trochę chronię pana Patryka Jakiego przed naruszeniem prawa.
Argumentowała, że taka propozycja narusza przepisy o postępowaniu administracyjnym. Rozumiem, że jest politologiem, w związku z tym ja, jako profesor prawa, muszę go ochronić przed wpadnięciem w sytuację, kiedy by złamał prawo — dodała.
Dodała, że audyt dotyczył adresów, których — poza pojedynczymi przypadkami — nie badały inne organy, ponieważ biuro audytu nie chciało dublować ich działań.
W audycie ws. reprywatyzacji w 60 proc. ze 175 przeanalizowanych spraw zidentyfikowaliśmy ryzyka, także nieprawidłowości, które mogły mieć wpływ na wydawane decyzje — powiedział w piątek wiceprezydent Warszawy Witold Pahl.
Te sprawy to w 3/4 sprawy, w których adresatami, beneficjentami tych decyzji były osoby, które nabywały te roszczenia w drodze spadkobrania — powiedział.
Wiceprezydent wymienił obszary, gdzie w audycie ustalono nieprawidłowości, to: ustanawianie przez sądy kuratorów dla osób nieznanych z miejsca pobytu i kuratorów spadku nieobjętego, problemy dotyczące uniknięcia ryzyka wypłaty podwójnego odszkodowania dla obywateli innych państw, nieprawidłowości związane z nabywaniem praw i roszczeń czy nieprawidłowości związane ze spółkami reaktywowanymi.
Pahl zaznaczył, że procedury zwrotowe zostały «zmienione po ujawnieniu przez organy ścigania faktu możliwości popełnienia przestępstwa, teraz już postawienia zarzutów i zastosowania przez sądy powszechne środków zapobiegawczych w postaci aresztowań wobec tych osób».
Zdaniem Pahla to, co miało bezpośredni wpływ na stwierdzone nieprawidłowości, to brak kompleksowych rozwiązań ustawowych. Dodał, że wprowadzona przy dużym zaangażowaniu prezydent stolicy tzw. mała ustawa reprywatyzacyjna pozwoliła na ochronę majątku miasta poprzez zakaz handlu roszczeniami w sprawach, gdzie mamy do czynienia z nieruchomościami, które były przeznaczone na cele publiczne.
Pahl, powołując się na wyniku audyty, stwierdził, że «sądy ustanawiały często w sposób nieuzasadniony kuratorów osób nieznanych z miejsca pobytu». Brak było nadzoru przez sądy nad postępowaniami, nad działalnością tych kuratorów — powiedział.
Dodał, że «prezydent miasta nie był informowany o toczących się przed sądami postępowaniach z udziałem kuratorów spadku, co również doprowadziło do niekorzystnego rozporządzania majątkiem miasta».

Mam wrażenie, że opozycja cały czas nie zrozumiała, dlaczego przegrała — wskazała Joanna Mucha (PO) w wywiadzie dla «Krytyki Politycznej». Przyznała, że PiS rozpoznało niektóre ważne problemy społeczne i «w jednym czy dwóch przypadkach» zaproponowało «nawet w miarę trafne rozwiązania».
Mam wrażenie, że opozycja cały czas nie zrozumiała, dlaczego przegrała — powiedziała posłanka Joanna Mucha. Według niej posłowie Prawa i Sprawiedliwości natomiast rozpoznali niektóre ważne problemy społeczne i «w jednym czy dwóch przypadkach zaproponowali nawet w miarę trafne rozwiązania». Oceniła, że «opozycja nadal nie widzi tych problemów».
Posłanka pytana o założenia programowe dla partii opozycyjnych, które przygotowała, powiedziała, że w jej przekonaniu pod tym programem «mogą się podpisać naprawdę wszyscy. Platforma, Nowoczesna, a nawet partia Razem». Jej zdaniem odrzucenie tych propozycji oznaczałoby przegraną «w wyborach samorządowych i parlamentarnych». Dodała także, że «jeśli ktoś zakłada, że trup PiS-u sam przypłynie Wisłą, to niech nie liczy, że wydarzy się to przy okazji najbliższych wyborów».
Jak tłumaczyła: Jeśli to zadanie chociaż w części by się powiodło, jeśli bylibyśmy w stanie powiedzieć ludziom: +Jako zjednoczona opozycja mamy dla was pozytywny program+, to jest szansa na zwycięstwo.
Według Muchy «to nie jest czas na polityków tworzących bon moty». Odmawiam też uczestniczenia w polityce, która polega na doktoryzowaniu się z PiS-ologii — podkreśliła.
Posłanka poinformowała również, że rozmawiała na temat swoich założeń programowych z prezydentem Słupska Robertem Biedroniem. On sobie tego nie wyobraża, bo ma inne podejście do wielu temató — powiedziała. Dodała jednak, że w ramach zjednoczonej opozycji jest możliwa różnica zdań. Dla mnie stworzenie dużej formacji opozycyjnej, którą spaja idea demokracji, ale w której różnimy się między sobą w szczegółach programowych, to przywrócenie idei parlamentaryzmu (…) Parlament to rozmowa — tłumaczyła.
Posłanka podkreśliła także, że jest zdeterminowana do tego «żeby rozmawiać o programie, o wizji Polski na najbliższe trzydzieści lat, a nie na najbliższe wybory». Oceniła, że «jeśli ludzie będą widzieli osobę, która wie, o co jej chodzi, i jest zdeterminowana, to ona uzyska ich akceptację».
Joanna Mucha na wtorkowej konferencji prasowej przedstawiła założenia programu, które będzie chciała przedstawić liderom partii opozycyjnych, także pozaparlamentarnych. Jak powiedziała, po zakończeniu procesu transformacji w Polsce, konieczne jest określenie planu na kolejne 25 lat.
W założeniach programowych Muchy znalazły się postulaty tworzenia sprawnego państwa, gdzie silny jest człowiek. Sprzeciwiam się wizji państwa forsowanej w tej chwili przez PiS, gdzie silne jest państwo i najważniejszy jest naród. Bo to oznacza, że człowiek jest poświęcany nas rzecz tego narodu, poświęcany jest wtedy, kiedy musi ponieść koszty; wtedy, kiedy ponosi odpowiedzialność zbiorową — mówiła.
Posłanka opowiedziała się też za decentralizacją państwa i tworzeniem społeczeństwa obywatelskiego, a także za zmianą relacji między pracodawcą i pracownikiem. Według niej służyć temu miałoby np. ograniczenie liczby zawieranych umów cywilno-prawnych. Wśród tez programowych Muchy znalazły się też te dotyczące pogłębiania integracji europejskiej i przyjęcia wspólnej waluty euro.
Zdaniem posłanki na opracowanych przez nią założeniach można zbudować szczegółowy program opozycji. Mucha zastrzegła, że tezy programowe to jej indywidualna inicjatywa; nie zamierza też tworzyć żadnej nowej partii.

Hurricane Ophelia headed toward Ireland, UK

This storm is oddly intense for the Mid-Atlantic this time of year
Forecasters say Hurricane Ophelia is on a track that will send it toward Ireland and the United Kingdom this weekend.
Ophelia is currently a Category 2 hurricane, with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.
It is an odd storm in that it’s a fairly intense hurricane for the cooler waters of the Mid-Atlantic Ocean this time of year. And it’s part of a hurricane season that already has seen monster storms like Irma and Maria wreaking havoc.
The National Hurricane Center predicts Ophelia will drop to tropical-storm strength as it nears the Emerald Isle and the UK, by late Sunday or early Monday.
Friday morning, Ophelia was picking up speed, spinning about 615 miles southwest of the Azores. By later Saturday, the hurricane is expected to pass near this island archipelago in the Mid-Atlantic, known for its vineyards and fishing villages.
By Monday, the forecast track has Ophelia much closer to Ireland and the British Isles. By then, its winds may drop to tropical-storm strength.
«Some weakening is anticipated after day 3 while Ophelia moves near the British Isles, but strong winds are becoming increasingly likely over portions of Ireland and United Kingdom regardless of the cyclone’s exact intensity,» according to the National Hurricane Center.

Audyt dot. reprywatyzacji w Warszawie, który przedstawiła dziś prezydent Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz i warszawski ratusz, dotyczy tylko 175 nieruchomości. Nie dotyczy on np. Noakowskiego 16. Być może słusznie, bo prezydent Warszawy nie powinna zajmować się tym adresem. To pokazuje jednak, że może być on niepełny – powiedział w rozmowie z redaktorem TV Trwam Szymonem Kozupą poseł PiS Paweł Lisiecki i dodał, że audyt zostanie oczywiście przeanalizowany.
Polityk odniósł się również do zaskarżenia do sądu przez warszawski ratusz (można o tym więcej przeczytać [tutaj] ) ustaleń komisji weryfikacyjnej, na podstawie których przywrócono miastu kilka nieruchomości wartych dziesiątki milionów złotych.
Członek komisji weryfikacyjnej ds. warszawskiej reprywatyzacji jest zdania, że podobne komisje powinny powstać w takich miastach jak Łódź czy Kraków, aby nie łączyć ze sobą tych spraw.

Uber officially appeals London ban, can carry on operating for now

Uber has lodged its appeal against the decision by London’s transport authority to stop it operating in the capital.
Last month, Uber lost its license to operate in London, but had 21 days to appeal – and 21 days later it’s now officially lodged that appeal, submitting the necessary documents to Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
The move comes as no surprise – Uber has 3.5 million punters registered in the UK capital, and it will desperately want to hang on to that custom – but what it means for users and drivers is that Uber carries on in London as normal for now. An initial court hearing for the appeal will be held on December 11.
«While we have today filed our appeal so that Londoners can continue using our app, we hope to continue having constructive discussions with Transport for London,» Uber said in a press statement. «As our new CEO (Dara Khosrowshahi) has said, we are determined to make things right.»
The taxi-hailing app has not had the best of times in recent years, with scandals and shake-ups at boardroom level, and regular criticism over its hiring practices, the way it treats its drivers, and the way it does business in general. The London ban isn’t the first time it’s had trouble with the authorities.
In its initial decision, Transport for London (TfL) pointed to concerns about Uber’s reporting process for serious crimes, the background checks it ran on its drivers, and the shady methods it has reportedly been using to boost business and stay below the radar of the regulators.
Recently installed Uber boss Khosrowshahi has promised that the company is keen to change its ways and fit in with whatever requirements the London authorities have. TfL, meanwhile, is going to have to find a way of pleasing both the riders and drivers who rely on Uber and those working in the traditional black cab business.

Call of Duty: WW2 is set to be one of the year’s biggest upcoming games, so how will Activision lure players back? Read on to find out more.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare had soldiers in space, but according to Activision, it didn’t resonate well with players. Call of Duty: WWII looks to take the series back to its roots with gritty, intense gunplay and a completely rethought multiplayer experience.
During the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty WW2 on 26 April 2017, Activision announced that the upcoming WW2 shooter will be released in the UK on 3 November 2017, in line with previous Call of Duty titles (Infinite Warfare was released on 4 November 2016, and Black Ops 3 was released on 6 November 2015).
Sledgehammer Games recently celebrated this fact by tweeting the below image of a huge Call of Duty WW2 poster. The poster was found on Santa Monica Boulevard in Southern California, near to Activision’s HQ.
As with all recent Call of Duty games, Call of Duty WW2 will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
As expected prior to the initial announcement, the Nintendo Switch isn’t supported, though there are rumours of a lower spec port. Beenox, a developer who’s been responsible for Call of Duty ports to Nintendo platforms in the past, has allegedly confirmed it is working on something to do with the franchise, but wouldn’t confirm what.
As with previous titles in the Call of Duty series, there will be some kind of PS4 exclusivity once it’s released later this year, although details are yet to be confirmed.
Call of Duty WW2 is available to pre-order on PS4, Xbox One and PC in both digital and physical forms. Those that want to pre-order a digital copy of Call of Duty WW2 can head over to the PlayStation Store (£55), Microsoft Store (£55) and Steam (£45).
Those that want a physical copy of Call of Duty WW2 have more options available. Pre-orders are available not only via Amazon (£48) with its price check guarantee, but also the likes of GAME (£50) and Zavvi (£50).
If you’ve money to burn, the £79.99 Call of Duty WW2 Pro Edition offers the base game along with a season pass, bonus digital content and an exclusive poster if you pre-order it from GAME. You can also pick it up without the poster from Amazon for the same price.
The game, rather obviously, is set during World War 2 and will see gamers on the beach in Normandy on D-Day before battling across Europe in a series of iconic locations from the war.

Call of Duty WW2 follows the story of the US 1 st Infantry Division as they battle their way across Europe. There will be battles in iconic locations including the D-Day invasion of Normandy as well as the Battle of the Bulge, and we expect more locations to be revealed at E3 2017.
Unlike with the hugely popular Battlefield 1, which put you in the shoes of several protagonists, Call of Duty WW2 will focus primarily on the story of inexperienced Private Daniels, although there is a mission where you’ll take on the role of a woman fighting in the French resistance.
Activision has also confirmed that Transformers actor Josh Duhamel will make an appearance in the single-player campaign as 34-year-old Technical Sergeant William Pierson.
Much like with Infinite Warfare, we imagine a slew of famous faces will make appearances in the game, and we expect more to be announced in the run-up to the game’s November 2017 release.
In an interview with Edge, the devs also revealed that they visited the sites of former battles across Europe to help capture the feel and look of the settings, including a visit to the frozen Hürtgen Forest — so we know there’ll be at least some fights in frosty conditions.
That commitment to accuracy extended to the tech too. The devs said that they learned that tank commanders would modify their tanks by fortifying the side or the front to suit their preferred tactics, suggesting that might be a feature in the game, and that they analysed technical data to understand the weak points in tank treads.

First up, classes are gone. Don’t worry though, as they’ve been replaced with Divisions that include Infantry, Armoured and Airborne, suggesting that vehicles may finally be coming to the series.
We also know there’ll be at least one major shakeup to the established CoD formula: no more infinite sprint.
Michael Condrey, one of the game’s lead devs, confirmed the news on Twitter. It’s not too much of a surprise, given the shift to a more realistic tone and the WW2 setting, but it’s yet another sign that this Call of Duty is going to be a little bit different.
That won’t be the only change to the gameplay style. In the above Edge interview, Condrey emphasised that the team are trying to make it feel «strategic and appropriate to the time period, while still maintaining the fun of multiplayer,» and claimed that the game is «more grounded, and more strategic, and I think you’ll find it’s not as fast.»
That will affect the map design, because «the feeling of being able to identify your lanes and threats is so different when you’re grounded.» The multiplayer maps will also follow many of the battlefields from the singleplayer campaign, while also expanding to new battlefronts.

Yet another major shakeup to the formula will be the healing system. A hands-on preview from Gamer Pros claims that «there will be no auto-heal anymore, neither in single player, nor in multiplayer,» suggesting that Sledgehammer will likely introduce a support unit like a Medic instead.
Also new is War Mode, a multiplayer mode that aims to immerse the player in iconic World War 2 battles. Featuring team-based skirmishes, players must choose between Allied and Axis and battle for objectives to push back and conquer the enemy.
It sounds much like Operations in Battlefield 1 where a story drives the objectives, and lasts much longer than a standard multiplayer match.
There’s also a new feature called Headquarters, a Destiny Tower-esque social area where players can interact with each other outside of multiplayer matches. While it’s yet to be confirmed, this could be cross-platform, meaning you might be able to see your WW2 buddies from PS4, Xbox One and PC in one single space.
Either way, it’s something new to the Call of Duty series and it’ll be interesting to see how players utilise the online space.

Along with the campaign and multiplayer, Activision also teased a new Zombies co-op campaign mode.
It’ll feature Nazi zombies and will contain an original story separate from the single-player campaign where players must stop the Third Reich from creating an unstoppable army in the final hours of World War 2. As with everything zombie-related, all doesn’t go to plan.
In October 2017, a huge leak of details of the Nazi Zombies mode surfaced. Found in the PC files of the beta, it’s best not to look if you want the game mode to be a surprise, with no stone left unturned.

Curiously, Sledgehammer’s Glen Schofield said that the devs’ trip to Europe even inspired the Zombies mode, claiming that «There’s some really authentic stuff in there. There’s back story that’s based on real events.»
Strange as it may sound that the zombie story might be authentic, we imagine he means that it will draw on real Nazi experiments, and some of the regime’s well-documented fascination with the occult.
It also looks like it’ll push further into real horror. Condrey said that the mode will be «unique to our Dead Space signature,» a reference to the fact that many of the devs worked on the Dead Space series at Visceral. Since that’s still one of our favourite horror games, this can only be good news for Call of Duty.
As promised, the Call of Duty WW2’s Nazi Zombie mode was revealed on 20 July. Although the video was leaked ahead of the official reveal, here’s the proper trailer for you to enjoy.
