« There was a lot of talk about this Russia investigation,  » Corden said, followed by clips of anchors on all the major news channels and even his own opening monologue talking about the probe.
« I get why this is dominating the news. Democrats are hoping that this is what gets Donald Trump impeached. Republicans, some Republicans, secretly are hoping this is what gets Donald Trump impeached. The thing is, in all the bluster, and the noise, and all the stuff and these stories, it is still important to remember that he is still president of the United States and it is still his job to take action on issues. »
