The 10.or D2 is an improved version of the 10.or D — in some departments — which was launched earlier this year.
10.or (Tenor) has launched the successor to the 10.or D aka the 10.or D2 in India today. Considering the price of the phone, looks like, with the 10.or D2 the smartphone maker is aiming to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, the Coolpad Mega 5A, the InFocus Vision 3, and the Infinix Smart 2. The 10.or D2 has been launched in India for a starting price of Rs 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The price of the 3GB RAM model goes up to Rs 7,999. The new 10.or D2 will go on sale for the first time on August 28, exclusively on Amazon.com. Prime members, however, will be able to get their hands on the phone a day early, on August 27.
The 10.or D2 is an improved version of the 10.or D — in some departments — which was launched in December last year. Compared to the 10.or D, the newly launched 10.or D2 comes with much bigger screen and better software. However, as far as the specs are concerned, the hardware and the camera setup are the same in both the phones. Compared to the 10.or D, Tenor has cut down of the battery of the 10.or D2, but Oreo onboard is an advantage for the phone. As far as the design is concerned, the smartphone is made of plastic with metallic painting. Let’s take a closer look at the new 10.or phone — the 10.or D2.
— 10.or (Tenor) claims that the smartphones’ battery is capable of delivering 20 days of standby time, up to 70 hours of MP3 playback time, up to 12 hours of video playback time and up to 19 hours of talk time battery backup. The 10.or D2 comes with a 3200mAh battery.
–It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo software. There is, however, no word if the new 10.or D2 will get upgraded to the latest OS Android 9 Pie or not. But, now that 10.or D has been upgraded to Android Ore — launched with Nougat — possibilities are high that D2 will get Android 9 Pie.
–The smartphone comes with 18:9 display.
— The smartphone also comes with features like – IPX2, a single speaker with Awinic sound algorithm, 2 microphones with noise cancellation, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual nano-SIM support.
–The smartphone comes with Face Unlock support — which wasn’t available on the 10.or D. The predecessor had a fingerprint sensor, but that’s not there on the D2.
The smartphone has been launched in two variants – one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, while the second one with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. As far as the pricing is concerned, the 2GB RAM model of the phone will be available for 6,999, while the 3GB RAM variant will sell for Rs 7,999. The 10.or D2 will go o sale on August 28 exclusively on Amazon India store. However, Prime users will be able to get their hands on the phone starting August 27 during the Prime early access sale. The 10.or D2 will be available in two colours – beyond black and glow gold.
