Tropical Storm Gonzalo became the first storm forecast to become a hurricane this season.
Either way, this storm is still at least a week away from getting close to Mexico or the United States and will be tracked carefully as it moves into the Caribbean. Gonzalo is the earliest « G » storm to form in the Atlantic in recorded history, following suit with what’s already been a record start to the 2020 Hurricane Season.
