The Swedish artist who had a bounty put on his head by Al Qaeda after drawing the Muslim prophet Muhammad with the body of a dog was killed in a car crash Sunday. Lars Vilks had been under police protection since publishing his 2007 sketch. He was riding in a police car with his security detail, when their automobile struck a truck, reports said.
