Vivo India has launched a new smartphone in India, dubbed the Vivo Y22. The device was recently launched in Indonesia, and its pricing was subsequently tipped ahead of its launch in the country earlier today. The smartphone comes to the mid-budget range of devices in India, which has seen increasingly fewer launches due to the global supply crunch of affordable chipsets with 4G connectivity.
The Vivo Y22 has been launched in India at Rs 14,499 for the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and Rs 16,499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The device is available for sale starting today itself, and can be purchased across all offline and online retailers — including Vivo’s own e-store.
