Speaking to GI.biz, the company’s director of subscription Philippe Tremblay said that the company saw « opportunity » in this space. The exec said that the subscription space had seen huge growth in recent years, especially on console.
Ubisoft+ for PC now includes Ubisoft+ Classic, which opens up a back catalogue of titles for players.
« I don’t have a crystal ball, but when you look at the different subscription services that are out there, we’ve had a rapid expansion over the last couple of years, but it’s still relatively small compared to the other models, » he said.
