Emma Broyles, Miss Alaska, was given the honorable title of Miss America 2022, beating Lauren Bradford, Elizabeth Pierre and 48 other queens for the top spot. Lauren Bradford finished in second place, marking her second runner-up title, and Elizabeth Pierre came third. Broyles, a 20-year-old student at Arizona State University, also made history in the process. Her win marks Alaska’s first Miss America title in the competition’s 100-year-history.
